Le Griot
This is THE jazz-bar in Strasbourg where all styles of jazz and
musical-artistic mixtures come together. Whether in the bar upstairs
or listening to concerts in the cellar downstairs, you'll feel
Le Griot has got rhythm down in its soul.
There's live music every night except Mondays and Wednesdays,
and an eclectic, international patronage, drawing from a wide
age range.
Every other Tuesday night there's the Boeuf'n Party jam session
which alternates with the Blue Moon blues concerts.
Some Sundays Le Griot opens at 6 pm welcoming artists of all bents
and on others, an all-night round of African stories and legends
begins at 7pm.
All of the performances are of great quality so find out about
it by having the quarterly program delivered straight to your
home.

La Salamandre
The Salamandre holds concerts, theme parties and student bashes
and is open according to what's on the program.
Things are hopping during the academic year, slowing down in late
April.
The atmosphere in this spacious establishment varies from one
night to the next as does the clientele.
Depending on how crowded it is, patrons can rub shoulders with
the musicians or merely attempt to catch a glimpse of the stage,
get caught up in the frenzy of the crowd, dance or meet and talk
to people.
