Animated Toy and Miniature Train Museum
Since 1993 the Animated Toy and Minature Train Museum, "le musée animé du Jouet et des Petits Trains", calls the former Vauban movie theatre home. This old building with its tiered galleries houses this museum perfectly. The Animated Toy and Minature Train Museum's principal objective, as stated in its name, is to show toys, robots, machines, and puppets... animated either in display cases or during organized presentations by professional animators.
On the first floor, you will find robots and "le Carrosse de Cendrillon", Cinderella's Coach, drawn by four white horses (credited to Descamp). But the magical World of Toys is also brought to life in various displays: wooden horses (dating from 1840 to 1940), models of automobiles (from the beginning of the century), puppets and fairground attractions.
